How does the hard drive regulate the noise it makes? Some people believe that noise reduction is achieved by reducing the speed of rotation of the disk, but this is not true, since the speed of rotation of the spindle is a constant value for specific model maintained to the nearest fraction of a percent. But the speed of movement of the drive of the block of magnetic heads (BMG) can be controlled. If you dismantled a modern hard drive, you would see that the HMG is driven by a coil located in the field of action of a strong permanent magnet.
