It should be remembered that all data on the drive (including the desktop!) Will be permanently deleted. All important files should be transferred to another drive or copied to a flash drive.
Another important point is drivers. Most often they come with the equipment on special disks, but if not, download them from the Internet in advance. Because after installation, without a driver for network card, it will not be possible to do this.

You need to immediately press any key on the keyboard to start the installation. This must be done immediately after the appearance of this message. Otherwise, after a few seconds it will disappear and you will need to reboot.

As soon as the download reaches the end, the message "Starting Windows" will appear. 
After that, the start window for configuring the installation parameters of the Windows 7 operating system will appear. Here you can select the system installation language, time format and keyboard layout. You can leave everything as shown in the picture. 
Then a window will appear in which you must click on the "Install" button. 
A window appears with the message "Starting installation". 
The system will prompt you to read the terms of the license agreement. If you agree, check the box "I accept the terms of the license", then click "Next" to continue windows installations 7.
The next step is to choose the type of installation. The system will offer you to restore the existing operating system and install a new one. We need the second option - "Full installation". We choose her. 
Now you will need to select the section ( local disk), on which Windows 7 will be installed. As a rule, this is "Local disk (C :)". However, it must be formatted, that is, cleaned of unnecessary information already available. To do this, press the "Disk settings" button. 
Now left-click once on the "Local disk (C :)" to make it active (selected), and then on the "Format" button at the bottom. Please note that out of almost 70 Gigabytes on this disk, only 24 Gigabytes are free. That is, 46 Gigabytes are occupied by various files of the old operating system. 
A message will appear warning that formatting will delete all files stored on this local drive. We agree by clicking the "OK" button. 
Formatting will complete in just a few seconds. You can find out about the completion of formatting by the updated readings of free space on the "Local disk (C :)". As a general rule, the free disk space after formatting should be 0.1 GB less than the total disk space. In my case, out of 69.9 Gigabytes after formatting, 69.8 are free. It turns out that 100 Megabytes are somehow reserved by the system. So, make sure "Local Disk (C :)" is selected and click "Next". 
If you installed a new hard drive (hard disk), it will not be marked as shown in the picture. Click the Disk Setup button. 
Select the unallocated space and click the Create button. 
A small field will appear in which you need to specify the size of the new local disk. For the Windows 7 operating system, I recommend choosing about 60-70 Gigabytes. But since the size is in megabytes, 70 must be multiplied by 1024, because one gigabyte contains 1024 megabytes. I got 71680 Megabytes. Enter this value on the keyboard in the "Size" field and click the "Apply" button. 
You can use the remaining unallocated space to create other local disks, the size of which you can choose as you like. So, highlight the created 70GB local disk and click the "Next" button to continue installing Windows 7.
A window appears displaying the running this moment Windows 7 installation operations. Unpacking files takes from 3 to 20 minutes, depending on the storage medium from which the Windows 7 operating system is being installed. As I said, installation from solid-state drives will be much faster. 
Next, a message will appear stating that the installation requires a computer restart. You can wait 10 seconds, and the system will do it by itself, or you can save precious seconds and click on the "Restart now" button. 
The computer will start to reboot. And here I recommend that you immediately go into the BIOS in order to configure the computer to boot from your hard disk (hard drive), and not from a USB flash drive or DVD. This can be done according to the principle described in the articles "How to configure the BIOS to boot a computer from a disk" and "How to configure the BIOS to boot a computer from a USB flash drive". Only in this case, instead of a DVD drive or flash drive, you will need to select an HDD. Once you have installed in BIOS boot computer from the hard disk, press the "F10" key and agree to save the changes by pressing "Enter". The computer will start rebooting from the hard drive - will continue installing the Windows 7 operating system with the message "Starting Windows". 
Then the message "The installation program is updating the registry settings" appears. 
And behind it is "Setup starts services." 
The installation of Windows 7 is nearing completion, as evidenced by the information in the next picture. 
The system will need another reboot. The next computer start-up will start with the message "The installation program is checking video performance." 
This will be followed by the initial setup of the Windows 7 operating system, which requires your participation. You must enter a username, for example, your own, and a computer name. To change the language from Russian to English, you can press the "Shift" and "Alt" key combination on the keyboard (that is, pressing these two keys simultaneously) or with the mouse on the panel above. If you entered necessary information, click the "Next" button. 
For your account, the system will offer to set a password, without which no one can boot your computer. You can create it right away, or you can do it later, after installing the Windows 7 operating system. I usually do not create passwords, since I am the only user of the computer. Click Next to proceed with the configuration. 
This time you need to enter your Windows license key. If you bought a disc, the key will be indicated on the package. If you downloaded Windows 7 from the Internet, do not enter anything, I suggest you activate the system after installation. Also uncheck the box "Automatically activate Windows when connected to the Internet" and click "Next". 
In the next window, if you have a licensed system with a key, select the first item "Use recommended parameters". If you purchased Windows 7 for free, for example, downloaded it from the Internet, that is, although your version is original, but still pirated, hacked, select the last item "Postpone the decision". Most people, including me, have just such a system. Click "Next". 
Now set up the date, time and time zone, then click "Next". 
If your computer has a network card or Wi-Fi, the installation system will prompt you to select a network to which your computer will be connected. I usually choose "Home Network". 
The computer will start connecting to the network. 
Then the message "Preparing the desktop" will appear.

To change the boot order, usually use the F5 / F6, + - or arrow menu. How to change the boot order should also be indicated in the instructions or in the BIOS itself.

Place your CD / DVD drive in the first place in the boot list, save the settings and exit the BIOS. Usually for this you need to find the item "Save and Exit Setup" in the BIOS.

Part 2. Install Windows 7

Autostart Windows installation from DVD or USB flash drive
If you did everything correctly, then after restarting your computer you will see the following:
- if you are using DVD media, you will see the inscription "Press any key for load from CD ..." (press any key to boot from CD). You must immediately press any key, because after a short amount of time (about 10 seconds), the download will start from the next device installed in the BIOS to boot.
- if you used a flash drive, the installation will start immediately
When installing an operating system, you must be careful and careful with functions that you do not fully understand.

Start installation
Attention!Your computer may have gray and blue USB connectors. If you install an OS from a USB flash drive, be sure to plug the USB flash drive into the connector USB 2.0 (gray)otherwise the installer might not see it.
The fact that the installer of the operating system has started work, you can judge by the line that appears at the bottom of the screen.

When preparation for installation is complete, you will see the inscription "Starting Windows"

After that, the Windows 7 installation window will appear.

We will leave the time format, language and keyboard layout unchanged (as shown in Figure 2). Click the button "Further"
, after which you can start the process by clicking on the button "Install"

Selecting the installation type
- A system update will allow you to reinstall Windows over your existing operating system.
- A full installation will allow you to select an existing partition to install or re-partition the hard drive. The system will be installed cleanly, so this option is more acceptable (we wrote more about installation types at the beginning of the article).

Hard disk partitions for system installation
After going to complete installation we will be presented with a list hard driveswhere you can create or select partitions to install. At this step, there may be several options for the development of events.
- You have only one hard drive in your system.
- You have a separate hard drive (possibly an SSD) where the operating system will be installed and separate drives for storing data.
- The installer does not see the hard drive or other errors occur (below are links to articles that walk through these issues step by step)
If you have multiple hard drives, transfer all important data to the drive where your personal files will be stored, and unplug it to avoid accidentally confusing drives when partitioning or formatting.If you have only one hard drive (or SSD), then it is advisable to split it into parts (if the disk space allows it).
The disk must be split into parts so that at least 50GB is allocated for the system, perhaps even more, because for normal windows work 7 it is desirable that the system partition has at least 15-20% free space.
The disk is partitioned in order to make it easier to reinstall the operating system in the future.
For example, you only have 1 hard drive in your computer with a capacity of 500GB.
You split it into 2 parts: 120GB (disk " C: ") and 380GB (Disk " D:» )
Now on disk « D:» you store music, movies, photos, program installers, folders with drivers, games, etc., and on disk « C:» you install programs to work.
Files from the "Desktop" and "My Documents" folders are also stored on disk «
C:».
When in the future you want to reinstall Windows, you just need to transfer (copy) all important files from the desktop and other folders on the disk «
C:»
to disk «
D:»
, then perform a full reinstallation with disk formatting «
C:»
.
If the disk is not divided into partitions, then you will have nowhere to transfer data from the disk. «
C:»,
and you won't be able to format it.
Partitioning a disk
In this step, you can create partitions on your hard drive if:
- the hard disk is not partitioned (new or all partitions were previously deleted);
- there are no important files on the hard disk and all information can be deleted.
If you are going to repartition the disk (and all important files have already been transferred from it), then you need:
- Sequentially delete all partitions of your disk using the button "Delete" . Attention! All files on these sections will be deleted!
- Select the unallocated partition that appears, click the button "Create" (see Figure 6).
- Specify the size first for the system partition (which will be the disk « C :» ) then create a partition for the disk « D :» (and other disks, if necessary).
Selecting a partition to install
If partitions on the disk were created earlier:
- Please select system partition (on which the OS was previously installed).
- Click the button "Format".
- After formatting, select the cleared section and click on the button "Further".
- Analysis of various types of errors during the installation of Windows 7 (including codes).
- What to do if the installer does not see the device (drive, hard drive, keyboard or mouse, etc.).

The process of copying files will take 15-30 minutes and will not require any action from you.

After copying and unpacking the files, the computer will restart.
At this point, you must remove the DVD or Flash drive from your computer, as the installation will continue from the hard drive where you copied the required files.
After rebooting, you will see a window with the completion of the installation.

The completion process will take a few minutes, after which the initial configuration of the operating system starts.
Completing Windows installation and initial setup
When the setup process is over, you will be prompted to enter a username to create your account, as well as a computer name for subsequent network identification (under this name, your computer will be visible in local windows networks).

Next, you will be prompted for a password and a password hint. If you want to protect access to your account with a password, then enter it. Or you can skip this step by clicking the button "Further"
